Let Claude keep your page up to date
A page about your work goes stale the week you ship something new. If you already talk to Claude about what you are making, you can let it update your inkoji page too. You add inkoji once as a custom connector, sign in, and from then on you can say "add the new release to my page" in a chat.
This note covers the steps from Anthropic's own help pages, the permission settings worth knowing, the Claude Code command, and how to undo what Claude did.
Which Claude plans can do this
Anthropic lists custom connectors on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. The free plan is limited to one custom connector (Anthropic: custom connectors). So you can try this without paying Anthropic anything, as long as inkoji is your one custom connector.
Anthropic also says Claude connects to the server from Anthropic's cloud, not from your device, so the server must be reachable on the public internet. inkoji's server is public at https://inkoji.com/mcp, so there is nothing to set up on your side.
Desktop and web are the main path. Anthropic says installing connectors on mobile "is currently in beta" (Anthropic: use connectors).
Add inkoji on Free, Pro or Max
- In Claude, open Customize > Connectors.
- Click +, then Add custom connector.
- Enter a name, such as
inkoji, and the server URL:
https://inkoji.com/mcp
- Leave Advanced settings alone. inkoji does not need an OAuth client ID or secret from you.
- Click Add, then connect.
- Claude sends you to inkoji. Sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email, read the consent screen, and press Allow.
Anthropic is rolling out a new two-step dialog. If you see it, you will be asked for a name, the MCP server URL, and an authentication choice (Sign in now, Sign in when needed, or No sign-in). Pick a sign-in option, because inkoji needs you to sign in.
One thing to know before you start: Anthropic says authentication settings cannot be edited after you add a connector. If you get them wrong, remove the connector and add it again.
Add inkoji on Team or Enterprise
An owner adds it once for the organization:
- Organization settings > Connectors, then Add, then Custom, then Web.
- Enter
https://inkoji.com/mcpand click Add.
Each member then opens Customize > Connectors, finds the custom connector, and clicks Connect.
Turn it on in a chat
In a chat, click + (or type /), open Connectors, and switch inkoji on for that conversation.
What you allow on inkoji
The inkoji consent screen names the app, your page, where it goes back to, and what the app may do:
- read your page and your uploads
- add, change, move and remove tiles, and change your name and bio
- upload pictures and files
"Also let it publish" starts unticked. Leave it that way and Claude prepares the changes while you press Publish yourself. You can disconnect whenever you like: on your page, press Connect your AI in the side.
If the words "connector" and "scope" feel vague, what is an MCP connector explains them without jargon.
Decide what Claude may do without asking
Claude lets you set a permission for each tool a connector offers, under Customize > Connectors: Always allow, Needs approval, or Blocked (Anthropic: remote MCP).
inkoji's connector offers tools such as get_started, get_page, look, add_tile, move, resize, arrange, remove_tile, upload_media and publish (which only works if you ticked publish). One cautious setup while you learn:
| Tool | Setting |
|---|---|
get_started, get_page, look | Always allow (they only read) |
add_tile, move, resize, arrange | Needs approval at first |
remove_tile | Needs approval |
publish | Blocked, or leave publish unticked on inkoji |
Loosen it once you trust what you see.
Things to say
- "Look at my inkoji page and list the tiles."
- "I released a new song today. Add this link as a tile next to my other music." Then paste the link.
- "My app is out of TestFlight. Change its pill to live."
- "Make my new short film the big tile at the top."
- "Tidy the page so there are no holes, then show me the map."
The map is how Claude sees your grid: letters for tiles, dots for empty cells, and a count of holes. You can ask for it too.
For a page that mixes a short film, an HDR reel, apps, a matte painting and open-source work, open the example page at inkoji.com/cyberyogi.
Claude Code
If you work in Claude Code, add the same server from your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http inkoji https://inkoji.com/mcp
For scripts and other apps that send a header instead of signing in, make a token on your page (Connect your AI, in the side of the page) and send it:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer ink_…" https://inkoji.com/api/page
Treat the token like a password and keep it out of shared files.
Undo what Claude did
Every change an AI makes on inkoji can be undone. Its first change in a session saves a snapshot of your page. On your page, Connect your AI then shows an entry such as "Undo what Claude did at 14:02", with the time of that session. One press puts the page back as it was before.
Deleted tiles also stay for 24 hours and can be restored. And tile text on your page is your content: inkoji's guide for AIs (inkoji.com/guide) tells Claude never to treat it as instructions.
What it costs on the inkoji side
Publishing is free, with up to 50 tiles and one image. If Claude will be uploading your pictures, video or audio, the paid year is $9, one payment, not a subscription; see pricing.
What to do next
- Open Customize > Connectors in Claude and add
https://inkoji.com/mcp. - Sign in on inkoji and press Allow, with "Also let it publish" unticked.
- Set the reading tools to Always allow and the rest to Needs approval.
- Ask Claude to add one tile, then open your page and check it.
- Next time you ship something, tell Claude and press Publish when it is done.
